​Jim Pollard has been in the building and developing business since he built his first house in 1978. Over the years, Jim has built over 500 homes.  Jim maintains an excellent reputation as a quality builder.  A large portion of his business comes from referrals and repeat customers.  Jim has several customers for whom he has built two, three, or even four different homes.  Jim’s wife, Cathy, is a real estate agent for RE/MAX Elite. Together, he and Cathy they have made a great team building and selling homes to and have become a cornerstone in quality construction, caring about their clients who eventually become part of the family. 

Jim has built all around the Kansas City metro, but most of his work has been in the Independence area.  In the late 80’s, Jim built his first subdivision was Timber Creek Ranch, off Kingshighway, in Independence, Missouri.  He has developed  Nottingham Estates,  in Independence, MO and Tyer Ridge, in Grain Valley, MO.  He has several subdivisions still under construction and has already broken ground at Remington Villas. 

​Matt Orf has been around the construction industry his whole life.  Matt’s dad, Bernard, has been building roof and floor trusses since 1979 in O’Fallon, MO, Matt’s hometown.  In fact, Matt worked for his dad a few summers during high school, as well as every opportunity he got on weekends growing up.  Matt insists that he developed his work ethic from his dad and learned much of what he knows today from his father.



After graduating from University of Central Missouri in 2002, Matt took a job as superintendent for Pollard and Associates.  Matt is an expert in the construction industry, very detailed oriented. Being onsite everyday allows Matt is involved in each home they build. He still  enjoys operating the bobcat, and swinging a hammer, it reminds him of home.



Matt loves the excitement of every new job and the challenges it brings.  He continues to grow his knowledge of the industry as he regularly attends builders meetings and continuing education classes in the construction field.
